01Safety session didn’t notify me
Open Settings → Permissions and confirm notifications are granted. Disable battery restrictions for Bantay if your device offers that setting. The session remains stored locally even when notification delivery is delayed.
02Location is unavailable
Allow foreground location while using Bantay and make sure device location services are on. If internet is unavailable, Bantay can still prepare raw coordinates when GPS provides them.
03SMS did not send automatically
This is expected on many devices. Bantay opens the supported SMS flow with prepared content; your phone may require you to select a recipient and confirm sending.
04Safety Call has no personal voice
Open Caller Profiles, choose a caller, then record or import one or more clips. Preview each clip and confirm your media volume is audible. Built-in voice remains available as a fallback.
05Personal recording is missing
If the recording was deleted from Bantay or removed during app-data deletion, it cannot be recovered from the app. Imported originals remain wherever you kept them outside Bantay.
06Emergency call will not open
Emulators and some tablets cannot place phone calls. Test call actions on a physical phone with cellular capability. Bantay will show a fallback when the operating system reports that calling is unavailable.
