Bantay does not require an account or create a cloud tracking profile. Contacts, sessions, messages, preferences, and personal voice clips stay on the device unless you deliberately share or export something.

Signal, battery settings, denied permissions, operating-system limits, and user confirmation can affect calls, messages, notifications, and location. Bantay is not an emergency service and never replaces calling 911 in the Philippines.

Does Bantay need an account?+
No. Bantay is designed to work without registration. Your trusted contacts, safety sessions, and preferences stay on your device.
Does Bantay track me all the time?+
No. Bantay prepares location only when a feature needs it, such as starting a safety session or preparing an SOS message. There is no live tracking dashboard.
Will a safety session keep its timer if I close the app?+
The session and expected arrival are stored locally, and Bantay schedules device notifications where permitted. Mobile operating systems can still delay background activity or notifications, so Bantay never promises guaranteed delivery.
Does Emergency SOS silently message my contacts?+
No. Bantay prepares your location and opens device-supported call or SMS actions. Your phone may require you to confirm every call and message.
Are personal Safety Call recordings uploaded?+
No. Personal clips are copied into Bantay’s private app storage and played locally. You can replace or delete them at any time.
